New Austin Listings are at 4,319 units. Focusing on the five-county Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), single-family home sales dropped 4.9 percent year-over-year to 2,900 home sales, while the median home price increased 5.6 percent to $285,000. Monthly housing inventory within the Austin-Round Rock MSA was 2.8 months in July 2016, statistically unchanged compared to the year prior.
